Oat install HPUX Itanium

Posted By: STEVEN MITTELSTAEDT
Date: Wednesday, 11 March 2009, at 2:20 p.m.

I've been struggling with this oat install for about a week. It seems that every time get a bit further down the road i get more errors that hault my progress.

First off, I have all the required software installed
Informix IDS 11
CSDK 3.5
PHP 5.2.6 (this came preloaded with PDO from hp)
Apache 2.2.6

as for as PDO_Informix I've tried version 1.1.0 1.2.5 and 1.2.6 with no luck.

I seem to have everything working except the PDO_Informix extension.

My first problem was when I ran ./phpize against the PECL :: PDO_informix I would get an error:

root@dev4db1 $ /opt/hpws22/apache/php/bin/phpize
Configuring for:
PHP Api Version: 20041225
Zend Module Api No: 20060613
Zend Extension Api No: 220060519
Cannot find autoconf. Please check your autoconf installation and the $PHP_AUTOCONF environment variable is set correctly and then rerun this script

I have autoconf installed in /usr/local/bin along with autoheader..etc.

I have tried settting the $PHP_AUTOCONF variable with no luck...so I proceeded to comment out the check_tools() function within phpize, which seemed to be fine... this is what i get:

root@dev4db1 $ ./phpize

Zend Module Api No: 20060613
Zend Extension Api No: 220060519

the configure script was created (so autoconf is obvioulsy working with phpize)... I run:

./configure --with-php-config=/opt/hpws22/apache/php/bin/php-config --with-pdo-informix=shared,/informix

my results are:

This is where I run into problems... when i run 'make' I get errors

ld: Mismatched ABI for -lifcli, found /informix/lib/cli/libifcli.so
Fatal error.

to then fix THIS problem... I pointed to each shared library with specific full paths

Example:

PDO_INFORMIX_SHARED_LIBADD = -L/informix/lib/cli/libifcli -L/informix/lib/cli/libifdmr -L/informix/lib/esql/libifsql -L/informix/lib/libifasf -L/i
nformix/lib/esql/libifgen -L/informix/lib/esql/libifos -L/informix/lib/esql/libifgls -L/informix/lib/libifglx

The make would then run but still with some errors...like these

...so i run the make install anyways and get...

root@dev4db1 $ make install
Installing shared extensions: /opt/hpws22/apache/php/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-zts-20060613/

which creates my pdo_informix.so ...but according to the above it's not a valid load module and I'm not sure why.

I added the extension=pdo_informix.so into my php.ini and I can't get rid of the red 'X' on the OAT install screen...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
