Installing JDBC 3.50 on Vista 64...

Hi,
I am trying to install JDBC 3.50 on Vista 64 and I can't make it go through.
It complains about directory not being writable. I turned UAC off, so
everything runs as Administrator.
So:
java -cp setup.jar run
1) Welcome.
2) I agree.
3) Pick a directory: what ever I pick, it says: Error: "directory" is not
writable.
I tried with existing, non existing directory. same stuff.
Any idea? Any place I can get a plain stupid tar?
PS/BTW, while I run the install, I get:
