Connection problems using IDS 7.24 on HP UX 11.00

HI,

Has anyone of you experienced this by any chance.

I have a client using IDS 7.24.UC8A on HP UX 11.00 and connects tow
different ways: using Powerbuilder on one hand from PCs using Windows
and Flowmind using JDBC on the other side on a unix box.

There are 4 instances of Informix running on the HP server. The problem
we are facing si only one of the nstances. The one that receives
thegreatest number of connection requests.

They do not have the source code to the application coming through
FLowmind which resides on a separate UNIX server that acts as a client
to the HP server that rund IDS 7.24.
Hence we cannot change anything on the client side. For your
information, the POWERBUILDER conneciotns coming from the PCs are OK.

Some of the connections from Flowmind get rejected.

We tried to add poll threads. That did not help. I advised to add ports
and hence listen threads, but they cannot do that since they cannot
change the client configuration.
The online.log does not give any errors. Only the FLowmind log file says
that the request was rejected.

Here is what onsta gives us: we notice 165 rejected connections.

Any TCP parameters on the HP side?
