OK, same answer really, just different details. You still need the iConnect
or cSDk on the Linux box it you don't have it installed already (though it
sounds like you do), then for native connections (like the 4GL apps) you
just have to make an entry for the Win2003 server. The details are in the
Administrator's Guide and Administrator's Reference manuals, but it will
look something like (assuming the windows server has been configured to
listen for TCP/IP type connections):

my_remote_server onsoctcp my_remote_hostname_or_ip_address
service_name_or_port_number

You can get the servername and port numbers from the win server's setnet32
utility. If that utility is using a service name that you do not know, you
will find it in the services file under the windows directory in a
sub-folder named something like

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

If the service name is not known to the Linux host, you can either add it to
the /etc/services file or just use the port number in the sqlhosts file.

You may have a problem if the Windows server was configured to only present
local connections. Then you will have to add a TCP/IP connection to that
server first.
