Hi Art, Thanks you so much for your answer , but im still so confused. You said onarchive can restore the backup?? I was researching about the utility but i found it was used before onbar and i didnt find anything about it in the documentation.
What whould be the steps to restore the backup from ids 10 on ids 11.5 using onarchive??
Also, how would i do to restore the backup using ontape?? because using ontape with testing database, informix 11.5 shows me the following error on the msgpath:

When i restore the same backup using ids 10.fc9 i dont get this error. Also i check out my dbspaces, and they have enough space more than 100MB per dbspace and just one database.
