Hi,

here is Andreas Kutsche: I think the question a few months ago
was slightly different: Which version (32bit/64bit) of informix
should be used?

This time the question is if a 32bit Informix can run on a 64bit
operating system?
I don't know AIX, but on HPUX (PA-Risc) there are no problems
running an 32bit Informix Instance on a 64bit HP-UX.
But you should consider migrating to 64bit if you want to
use more resources.
